last night we surprised the kids and took them to see the fresh beat band.  it was hilarious....i asked warren if this was equivalent to me seeing new kids on the block and he said no, more like save by the bell....the kids thought they were rock stars.  seriously, i didn't know it would be that much fun...to see the excitement in the kids eyes was priceless.

back in the day, i watched full house on friday nights while eating little caesar's square pizza (remember when the pizza was square?!)...those twins turned out much more stylish then i will ever be...

yippee!!  it's friday!  as soon as i finish packaging a ton of boxes, i'm off to the mountains for the weekend.  ryan offered to drive us there but i'm not sure his ride is safe for the kiddos :)  have a great weekend!! xo- Shannon

fall is in the air!!!  yippee!  i ran out and got a new door mat for the occasion....and my husband may or may not have said "what's up w/ the equestrian theme outside"....men!!!

red is a color i don't use a lot....but after seeing these images, it makes me what to add a little in my house.....or my closet :)

bright white....that's what i need right now.  i stayed up too late last night.  i'm not a good sleeper when my husband is away (luckily he's on his way home now).  so i stay up really late listening to all the sounds, triple checking on my sleeping kiddos, watching horrible late night tv, looking at pinterest...i wish i was just the kind of person who got into bed and fell fast asleep.  but hey, at least it's the weekend!!  i hope y'all have a peaceful one :)  see you next week!

 i haven't been watching tv lately but on mon, i dabbled back into one of my guilty plessures- the voice....i've got to say adam and blake can make a girl laugh!!  i love their bromance!

hello monday....i'd be lying if i said i was happy to see you....sorry i was mia last week.  my poison ivy took me on a wild ride straight to the doctor, mixed in w/ a road trip, and a lot of work deadlines.  but now it's a fresh week and i promise to be better!!  hope y'all had a wonderful weekend!

last night i finished emily giffin's where we belong... i love her (i've read all of her books) and this book was so good.  i feel like i'm in a funk now that's its over b/c selfishly i want more....
any suggestions on what i should read next??
