2010 was a very interesting year...
we uprooted our life in charleston and moved to beaufort, we found out we were having a baby boy, i ate my first fried pickle (and loved every minute of it), i spent 13 wks on bed rest, my daughter turned 3, a best friend survived a near fatal car accident, i had the honor of being published, i turned 31, we made new friends, i gave birth to a healthy baby boy, i joined jazzercise (
so what does 2011 have going on??? well, my hubbie has a new job and we are moving to columbia, sc and that's about all i know for sure....but i am excited to see how it all unfolds!!
**to beaufort, our friends, and my parents- thank you from the bottom of my heart for a beautiful town and a very memorable year ;)

Wow! What a year! Did you like living in Beaufort?? I live in Greenville and we always vacation in Beaufort and one day would love to have a home there. Good Luck with the move.
What a year! I've actually been to Beaufort and absolutely loved loved it- we moved around alot when I was little and I always liked the change and excuse for a new beginning- wishing you a happy move and all the best in 2011!! I'm excited to see all of your fabulous new year fabrics:) xo

Quite a year, indeed! Love your blog. Welcome to Columbia! My husband and I moved here from Charleston, for him to attend Medical School. Tough to move away from the ocean, but we have really come to love it! Let me know if you need any direction/advice. We moved quite a bit when our kids were little. It was good. They had much to talk about. I actually was able to plan a couple of our moves when they were in elementary school. We moved mid term, yep, over Christmas break!
My crazy theory being that if we moved mid year, they would have friends for the summer. It worked! Plus when you are new at midterm, seems like everyone knows your name!

new to your blog, but read that you're moving to Cola (Columbia)! Both my parents and my husband's parents live there and we love having every opportunity to come back "home"! Enjoy!! You're not too far from your old homes in Charleston and Beaufort either!!
There are many fun places to eat and shop downtown. The Northeast is really growing too! (If you are looking for a church, check out Crossings Community near Killian Rd/Clemson Rd.)
