i love this quote...

"You can sit and obsess forever, but you'll always be happier if you just go for it. That's how you find your personal style." quote from domino by designer krista ewart (recently named one of next "kelly wearstler's") so are you an obsesser??

I am an obsesser to the 9th degree!! I arrange, rearrange, move, and organize so much I think my husband wonders who he married sometimes! I am also a designer and constantly surrounded by new and beautiful things therefore deciding almost on a weekly basis that I would like to change my home. Of course magazines and blogs only fule that fire more but I can't help it, I just love it~

Ha. My polyester fuschia chairs are STILL fushia since I can't decide on a fabric with which to recover them. Perhaps this quote is just the kick in the seat I need.

Thank you...Thank you...Thank you...I needed to hear this, its a good swift kick in the behind! We moved in 5 years ago and still can't decide on which design direction I'm going in.

I am an obsesser, but only because wen I go for it, it's usually a costly mistake. Now I tend to go for it only if it can be painted over. :)

I obsess but yes, I agree with sgm, that mistakes can be terribly expensive and then I have to live with something for YEARS that looks dreadful bc. I cannot justify or afford to try something different.

This is so very true. It wasn't so long ago until I had a chance to go wild with interiors. Now I find myself convincing my friends to make the leap. It's so very liberating! In fact, I just helped my neighbor paint her bedroom a very deep blue-gray. It was so dark, she was hesitant - and I told her, the color looks great - we should do it! And what the heck, it's just paint - it doesn't mean you can't change your mind.

Great Great quote!

I obsess for ages about being minimalist, go for it and end up being eclectic! Then I start obsessing again.
