so i was recently introduced to the appliance company
AGA when i started working on a kitchen project that was using one of the ranges. the appliances arrived to the job site yesterday and the range it is
super cool. it is made out of cast iron so it looks like a 1930's style stove but w/ all of the modern day entities.
I have to show this to a client of mine!
ReplyDeleteMy English aunt swears by her Aga. Cooking is quite different when you are baking things in an Aga. I have seen them in showhouses in Atlanta, but they stay 'on' all of the time, so it seems like it would be awfully hot in the kitchen in the summer!
ReplyDeletea friend of mine rang to tell me they had a good news. me, thinking perhaps it might be a 3rd child, nope,an AGA was the new and latest member snapped up for a mere six pence due to the fact that it was a floor model and also electric which is what they have - so - I have yet to go and see it and taste something whipped up and baked from within. I do love them, they have a vintage modern look.
ReplyDeleteGreat kitchen by the by!
You need to post pics of the kitchen you are currently working on! I bet it is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI like the white brick look on the wall. THe cabinets are pretty and I love the hood above the stove!
ReplyDeleteCan you really use AGA's in Atlanta? I I thought they were on ALL of the time! Too much heat in the kitchen in summer?
