i recently stumbled upon an interview w/ palmer weiss for the SF Gate and just fell in love w/ her list of favorites...leontine linens- perfection when it comes to luxury bedding (just a little out of my price range at the moment), a lucite and brass ram lamp she found for next to nothing at an antique store (can you get better than mid century lucite?), and raoul fabrics- their beautiful hand blocked patterns on linen make them one of my fav's.....
i also loved reading her tips/ cheat sheet: shirted console tables to hide clutter (i have been in love w/ this idea since i saw her spread in domino), shopping local (something i want to strive harder to do), and steering away from themed kids rooms (they get dated quickly)... palmer, you have great taste!! catch the whole article here.

Oh great tips. I love her website! All that orange. It's fab. I'll have to go read more about her in the article you linked.
ReplyDeleteOh that fabric. Amazing!
Leontine Linens are lovely indeed, and oh so out of my price range.
ReplyDeleteI noticed in a previous post that you have your own lovely monogrammed pillow cases. I love this look and would like to get this done. Do you have any good resources you could recommend, and what is the typical price one should expect to pay if they have existing bedding done?
Thanks.
I only wish I could afford Leontine Linens. They are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love Palmer and her aesthetic. Feminine, crisp, with a youthful spin. I wish I could go to this year's SF Decorator's Showcase. We happend to be in town last year when it was happening and it was incredible! San Francisco is home to some amazing talent.
Palmer's website is amazing! The potential of a skirted console is often underestimated!
ReplyDeleteI love Palmer... and Leontine Linens! But they aren't in my budget either.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stuff! Still no baby, but soon!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you about Palmer Weiss- she has great taste and I love her use of color! Something fun for you to know- her mom is also a designer here in Charleston, Kathleen Rivers, so needless to say style runs in the family!
ReplyDeleteI love these linens - the monograms are divine, xv.
ReplyDeleteOh, I adore her!! Can't wait to read the whole article.
ReplyDeleteThese linens are gorgeous - I would love some monogrammed linen for my bed. Ax
ReplyDeleteI love monogrammed linens, they look so classy. And the lamp is really drool-worthy.
ReplyDeleteI love her work, and that lamp is pretty fantastic! I will have to check out the article. Have a great weekend!
