ohhh....I Love lime....I have it in my home, in my wardrobe, in my yard! EVERYWHERE. I love it combined with black! Fun and Fresh!
ReplyDeleteOh I love limes as well. They smell amazing and look so pretty just sitting in a bowl or in my glass of water. Lovely images and please sent some summer my way! It's pouring and I'm sitting at home wearing Uggs!
ReplyDeletehah as soon as I read, "dont' you love the way a lime smells when you first cut it..." I thought yea if you've just cracked a corona. And you had written that too! great minds think alike..I'm in Alabama and it is SOOO hot. I loving going to the pool but it's almost too hot for that as well! love this post. and that wood X bookcase, would look great filled w/ vintage wine bottles.
ReplyDeleteI love that color! We are looking at a house that we may offer on and a bathroom is remodeled and painted in lime green, like that first picture, I was surprised how much I loved it when I saw it.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fresh, fun color! So great for summer...speaking of I could use a corona right now :)
ReplyDeletevery fresh!
ReplyDeleteOne "fun fact" about lime and sun. Some people- I am one of them- may have a slight skin reaction to sun and lime. In other words, if you spill lime juice from your margarita/Corona on your skin and are laying in the sun,it can create a spot on your skin (no harm to you and eventually goes away but it can be slightly disturbing if you don't know what it is).
all pretty! I have a lime green ceramic lamp that was $1 at a yard sale and I love it.
ReplyDeleteit's hot here too. like, holy cow, hot. yesterday I walked outside and thought "this is what it feels like to be smothered."
i hear ya. i am in atlanta too. this time of year i'm all about the proseco. especially the pink ones. i keep the limes though for homemade guacamole.
ReplyDeleteI am lovin this color...just went to a new client's the girls loves this shade & pink in her girl's room!
