my color or lack of...

lots of people have been asking to see pictures of the house...believe me, you will definitely see pictures, as well as projects that i hope to be starting soon...but right now, i feel like it's lacking my favorite color and that i am swimming in a sea of khaki....i like khaki, don't get me wrong, i just like it combined with other colors!

You and me both, lady. Love the color in these. Maybe just painting our door would help...

recently discovered yer awesome blog...love it! i can relate to this love of neutrals (and simultaneous lust for color). have you seen the sunroom's pink wallpaper and toile in Mariette Himes Gomez's pink cottage as seen in her book HOUSES? i simply die.

I'm with you on the tan color. We just moved and had someone paint and I had to go with a neutral color because we have a two story great room and I won't be able to paint it by myself. I am going to paint my double mantle black. I think that will be dramatic and beautiful.

I'm on your page - I have a few turq/teal bowls & vases that always move along with me for instant inspiration while I get the rest together...I just adore that hutch!

I want a door that color so bad!! We can't have anything but wood stain in our current neighborhood, but I will have it in my next house...wherever that will be!
