little man.

i think my little man is trying to tell me he's ready for some attention. for the past month, i have done a fairly good job of concealing him. i throw on a puffy vest and zip it up. i thought i was pulling it off pretty well until my dad informed me otherwise. so maybe it's time to let the little man out. b/c my bump is definitely in full effect. and one person who is very aware of that is barron, my golden. he follows me EVERYWHERE...around the house, to the bathroom, to bed...in fact, as i type he is lying at my feet.
by this time w/ my first pregnancy, i think i had the entire nursery picked out...her closet was full of cute outfits and toys. but w/ the second...not so much. people keep asking me what am i doing for the nursery and i stare at them blankly. i have no idea. i'm so use to girl things and now that a boy is entering my world, i'm being thrown for a loop. but i know i don't want him surrounded by a sea of pink....so i've got to get focused. it's time to give #2 the attention he deserves...
and i think i'll start by saying he should totally be wearing one of these ittikid onesie...i mean, how cute are they?!!

That bed! Can't believe that was a flea market find. Good luck with the nursery, I'm sure it will come together in no time!

Shannon- when are you due? I'm due in May (with my first) and haven't even started on the nursery... I'm behind.

And Tanner (my golden) knows that something is going on with me!

Those pjs are ridiculously cute!!! Having a boy is definitely a whole different experience from girls. I have one boy but allll my friends have girls and I was so used to girls but it's definitely fun! I did a nautical theme for my son's room!

I have a 5 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. Boys are a handful but some much easier to dress!

Oh... I so want to order one of these for my little guy... sooo cute.
I know it is hard to shift gears. Esp. if you like pink so much. But once you get going it will be fun.

I have a gorgeous girl(4) and two beautiful boys (one who is 2years and the other 11 months). After having had so much fun decorating a pretty girl room I too was a bit overwhelmed about what to do for a boy! However... i have since decided it is a heap of fun, boy decor seems to be able to get away with more than girl decor. Bright colours (i went for red), bold stripes and stars. Actually it makes me want more babies just to decorate rooms!!!
Boys are delicious and bring a whole new dynamic to your world. Enjoy your beautiful babies.

Love your blog.. is like I am reading words I could have typed myself!!!!
