my way of celebrating st. patrick's day has had many different meanings over the years...in elementary school i celebrated it by seeing how much green i could actually put on my body, in middle school i toned it down to just a pair of earrings, in high school i think i wore pink b/c i was trying to be cool by not wearing green, in college i chugged green beer, and currently i traded in all of that green for a bowl full of guacamole....
happy st. patrick's day...i hope you enjoy the green, whichever way you choose to celebrate it :)

I had never thought about eating guacamole for St. Patty's day, but it is such a great idea! I would much rather eat guacamole than corned beef and cabbage! And the dog in the picture looks just like my parent's dog, Watson, who is a rough coat Jack Russell Terrier :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Happy St. Paddy's Day to you too!

Mother's day was last Sunday here in the UK. I made my mother-in-law guac & chips and chicken burritos. I'm pretty sure she was the only British mum celebrating Mother's day with a Tex-mex lunch! She loved it! I've never thought of gauc for St Patrick's Day but that's a pretty good idea. Yummers!
ReplyDeleteOoh I could definitely go for some guacamole.
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day, Shannon!
Yummm guacamole looks fantastic... just found your blog today - really cute! I live in Charlotte and am super jealous you live in Charleston - what a fun place. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love green and guacamole!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a stroll down 'green' memory lane. Sadly, I didn't even think about it being St. Patrick's Day until now. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed that big bowl of guacamole.
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely images! That gauc is making me hungry!
