things for the wall...

my children's rooms both lack things on the wall. i mean literally, it's sad. we basically moved here and then i went on bed rest so they are bare. they definitely need some personality and these pictures are ones that inspire me....

  2. The gallery wall is awesome. The girls room ( all white with pink )is giving me some inspiration. Calleigh has a queen bed that feels big in her room, this though looks fabulous. Thanks Shannon!

  9. Oh no, why are you on bed rest? Stinks that you just move and can't get things just how you want them! We just moved and as my BP is rising, I'm afraid they will do the same thing. My poor son's room is currently pink.

  15. This is a fun post. Things for walls are tough because they are elements that are eye level, so you should really love them! These are great - thanks for sharing

  17. These are most definitely inspiring! I want to do something more with my walls now! I love that they aren't super generic and are fun rather than too kiddy or too adult!

  18. Shannon - Thanks for featuring my work (4th photo)! The fun "Jake Waters Seeds" artwork is by a super talented DC artist named Dave Peterson.

  19. I did my entire basement wall with my sons framed drawings. It's the cheapest yet the most special and hilarious art.

I live just outside of ny and there are planes, trains and cars!
Now that my twins are 17, I want to paint fast cars on their wall - formula 1.
