okay A LOT quieter, now that my biggest kiddo is off at camp for the week.... it's amazing how easy it gets w/ a baby when the big sister is away. warren and i feel like we are on vacation! we went on a long walk, visited w/ friends and drank wine, cooked a yummy dinner, watched a strange movie, cleaned the house (and it stayed that way), slept in a little...and now i can actually sit at the computer and have time to do things while the baby takes his AM nap.
it's going to be a nice week....BUT i have to admit, i already miss my girl...

And I bet you didn't feel this way when your girl was a baby and you had just one...isn't it amazing how the first baby is overwhelmingly hard, but later if you have just one it seems amazingly easy? Practice, experience and perspective. Janell

Love the pictures - they put a smile on my heart! It is amazing how taking one child out of the daily mix makes things around the house so much more peaceful! As much as I miss one of mine when they are gone, I LOVE the quiet calm! enjoy!

It is quite amazing how taking one child out of the mix makes things easier, but how being able to hear yourself think is almost too quiet!

These pictures are all so pretty and calming... I'm so glad you're getting a few moments to yourself, and hopefully a few with Warren!
Camp can be so fun for kids and knowing they are having fun can make the time without them inspire a bit of fun in the parents, giving us pause to remember the fun that we had creating the little boogers! :)
