what's your vote...

A: Headboard: Kirk Brummel, Pillow: Quadrille, Window: Victoria Hagan

B. Headboard: Quadrille

C: Headboard: Victoria Hagan

when the hubbie leaves me at home (he went to pick up tay from camp- yippee), i play....here is what i just finished playing around with..tay's pitiful room doesn't even have a picture on the wall (i went on bed rest right after we moved here and then had a newborn). it's really embarrassing...even tay makes comments about it! so here is what we are working with- two twin beds, pillows, and a window treatment. help me with this depressing room; then maybe i will finally do something about it :) so what's your vote??!!

*the monogramed shams were something i had done before we moved here...don't know if they will stay or not.

  3. As much as I love the Quadrille, I'm thinking the Brummel looks best for the headboard.

  4. I like the top scenario the best.

It will be cute whatever you do.

  5. You can't go wrong with any of the combos! My favorite is the Quadrille ... but I reluctantly admit that I think the headboard looks best in #1.

  6. Definitely Brummel #1 . You will have more options with bedlinen and we all know little girls like to change their rooms around, especially if they are budding decorators. Have a lovely weekendx

  9. B!!!!! I adore the Quadrille and it is perfection for a little girl's room - whimsical but sophisticated!

  11. I agree that although I LOVE the Quadrille, the headboard looks best in #1. It is going to be so darn cute!! Lucky girl:)

  12. B! Beautiful! Can't wait to see what you decide!

  13. So hard to not go with the pretty Quadrille, but I think the Brummel is more appropriate for a headboard. I really enjoy the Quadrille accent!!

  14. B for sure!!! I LOVE the Quadrille fabric for a little girl's room. Totally reminds me of the MWM room in the San Fran house in Trad Home a couple months back. Although it's also cute as an accent, especially with the birds centered...

  18. Option A. Also the screen on the window lets a room clearer!

  20. Well, I adore A. The headboard is lovely but not fussy, and the Victoria Hagan is perfect for a little girl.

  21. Quadrille for the headboard!!

  22. B! I like the Victoria Hagan best on the window...have fun!

  23. I like A! Are there dust ruffles or a chair? I am sure you will work your magic and incorporate it all perfectly!!!

  24. If Ellie had an option of an upholstered headboard I would love quadrille, since she doesn't I can live through you:)

  26. Definitely B! I know what you mean...my son is so ready for his room to be decorated. I probably should have done his before the kitchen! (they really are all pretty, though) You baby is a cutie :)

  27. The first one looks the best!

  28. A for the headboards.
B for Roman Shade and throw at the end of the beds.
C....make 2 rectangular pillows for the head of the bed with the one line of the square/circle/square...

One pillow would have the letters T A Y monogrammed in the square/circle/square. The other pillow would have the letters L O R

So TAY LOR would be on the two twins. This would help her spell her name!

Thanks for letting me play with you.

    xoxo, Julia

  29. Option B for sure. Lovelovelove the Quadrille fabric on the headboard! What a lucky little girl!

  30. I vote for "B" -- quadrille is a favorite of mine. I love the Victoria Hagan but I think it might be a bit too big in scale for that headboard (but I love it as a roman shade!).

    ReplyDelete
  31. B. She is little and you will not be able to choose what you like in her room for long.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well, i must confess I'm partial to the Quadrille print - because I have pillows out of that fabric...so A or B. :)

  33. 100% toile. I love it with the font on the monogram.

    B all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  34. They are all good options, but I love B. Keep the monogrammed sham too!

    ReplyDelete
  35. All good but quad. my favorite. Love the monogram pillows! Such fun to play ( :

  36. I am a huge fan of Quadrille and a sucker for toile.....but I think I'd go with A for the headboard and use the Quadrille for accents. And, I'd keep the monogrammed pillow....I am sure it will look fabulous!

  37. Love all three fabrics, but I think "A" is most flattering for the headboard. B is a close second...I just like to see toiles in bigger form like panels or chairs!

Any fabric you choose will be wonderful!!!

    xo

  39. B All the way! It will grow with her, she'll still love it when she's in her teens.

  40. You can't go wrong any combo as they all are wonderful. But handsdown, "A" is my pick! And I would keep the monogramed shams. They are darling!

  41. Headboard Quadrille-it will move into her big girl days beautifully.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Don't like the fabric in the first picture on the window. doesn't really go with everything else, too plain. Otherwise it looks great.

    ReplyDelete
  43. A - minus the window treatment, it is too big a pattern for a small space. And, I'd love to see art over each bed and then a simpler window treatment. Lucky girl! It's a far cry from the ballerina border I had growing up. (and dearly loved :)

  44. They all work but I really love A. Such a nice and bold combination.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I LOVE the quadrille fabric for the headboard!

    ReplyDelete
  46. B! I love B! I don't think you could go wrong with any of them, but B is definitely my favorite : )
