You should buy Mastering the Art of French Cooking. You can make those dishes and they are delicious but they do take a long time. Good luck!
ReplyDeletehow inspiring to know Julia was 32 when she started... life is just beginning! love the images, as always. Cooking would be a dream in those kitchens. Happy cooking!

Wow! I never knew Julia was only 32 when she started...so inspiring. Your pictures are also so inspiring...man, I love those copper pendants and the black & brass ones!! Great!
ReplyDeleteInsanely gorgeous images - saving them all, OK?
ReplyDeleteThat quote from Julia Child really resonated with me when I read My Life in France, recently. Maybe because it gives me hope that a) I have plenty of time to work towards my passions and b) Do you know how much "older" being in your thirties was in the 40's? 'nuff said!
Sounds like you are off to a good start tonight! Enjoy! Janell
ReplyDeletelove those kitchens and Julia Child is an inspriation! Love her.
ReplyDeleteEmpanadas...perfect choice! And having a place to create food like any of your images would be a nice bonus, too!
ReplyDeleteHappy empanadas!
If I had a kitchen like this, I would NEVER be able to stop cooking! Love them!

Love the kitchen images. Love that Viking stove. I dream of that Viking stove. But, alas, I'm 56 and still can't cook! Maybe if I had that stove I would be inspired to learn.
ReplyDeleteLove this kitchen and LOVE that quote! We are redoing our kitchen, so I must broaden my cooking horizons... ;)
ReplyDeletelove that you called it supper:)
ReplyDeleteLove the Julia quote. Michael and I cook--- but we both, too, want to learn to really cook!

I've decided I should wait until I have an amazing kitchen like one of these photos - then I can get serious about cooking. That's what I tell the hubby anyway!
