running.

last week i decided that i was going to dust off my tennis shoes and start running again. it's been over a yr and a lot has happened in that yr including bed rest and baby #2. i'm not going to lie and say it was a piece of cake. i was actually kind of scared. but i did it w/ baby #2 in tow (i think i prefer running w/ a stroller). and now i am on day 7 of running and i love it. okay, some days i would like to just stay in bed and drink my coffee...and maybe eat a donut w/ chocolate frosting (or two)...but i've got jeans i am trying to fit back into!

I recently started back but have only been a few times. And without the stroller. Maybe if I tagged Collins along with me... I'd go more often.

But I'm all about staying in bed with coffee and donuts!

i'd love to get back into running. my pre-pregnancy jeans are staring me in the face. i'm afraid of my milk supply!

I've recently gotten back into running too for the sake of 2 pairs of jeans and to get rid of my muffin top! It's not fun but it always feels good to finish. Also, my friend and I do it together so it's a great way to catch up and pass the time.

With such a positive attitude, running will become just another routine in your day! Way to go!

Running is the only thing that got me back into my pre-preggo clothes! I have to admit I did blow it off this morning to sleep in...thanks for making me feel guilty ;)

I started back 3 weeks ago and I have to say it was hard at first but it helps not only my physical health but my mental health as well!

Good for you - I'm impressed! Running definitely scares me, too. Just seems so daunting...but I really think it is the one type of exercise that works. I have a jogging stroller (which I love) but have only used it for walks so far....but maybe I will get out there now that I have some inspiration!

I started doing the same...setting my alarm early to go walking/jogging. In fact, I should get off the computer so I will wake up at 6:30am...as a working mom I find it's the only time I can do it. So hard. Good for you, esp since just having another one!

I started running for the first time in August. I never thought I was a runner, but read about the Couch to 5k program and decided it was worth trying. I mean, anyone can run for a minute. I'm on week 6 (took 2 weeks off) and I feel great, have lost a little bit of the muffin top and feel a lot more energetic. Glad to hear so many of these blogging ladies are putting their feet to the pavement and enjoying the beautiful fall weather! Happy running ladies!

Go Girl! i just started 4 weeks ago and did a 10 mile run on a whim last weekend. I was so pumped to finish I that signed up for the OBX half marathon next month. (The endorphines were really flowing I guess) My goal is to finish and drop a couple lbs.
Keep it up!
