I always look forward to your posts! Every picture you choose is new to me and I love that! And I am actually wearing orange toe nail polish. It might look more like coral, by Essie color is e-nuf is e-nuf. Have a wonderful day!

Loving the shoe shelves! And why do giant stacks of magazines and books look so great in pictures and so "too many piles" in my own home? Ha.

Ha! I love plaid shirts on others but when I try I feel like a trucker. Maybe I'm just styling it wrong.

As for toe nail polish, mine is embarrassingly old. Must take care of that before spring :)

We recently purchased a new home. Thus has begun the process of setting up, which includes hours of online research, shopping, reading blogs. Somewhere along the line I stumbled upon yours. Right after I purchased my very own HIDEOUS credenza that is occupying my every free moment (between 3 kids, cleaning, and work...hmmm). I've been checking back here to see your finished product. And I'm wondering if it's really as ugly as mine. To quote my husband, "It is ghastly". My designer girlfriend and I see the potential. Good luck with yours!

My neighbor always looks so bohemian chic or elegantly styled and she always finds things at thrift stores! Maybe you and I, both, should start shopping there!

Love the idea of displaying shoes on the living room and orange nail polish - why not?

Those shoe shelves are seriously amazing. I often go thrift store shopping and find the most amazing, one of a kind trinkets and clothing-- I would highly recommend it. And it is very green to boot. :)

Thanks!

Half the clothes I own are from thrift stores and they are my favorite pieces...and the ones I always get compliments on. Give it a try!! I love her outfit in that picture - makes me want to grow my hair out AND put on a plaid shirt.

Can I please have a closet of shoes like that? So organized and spacious. I love it!

I loved your post about being a working mom. I feel the same way. I just went back to work after 6 years of staying home and I am feeling stressed. My only savior right now is my cleaning lady - whom my husband thinks is too expensive and I think she is the best thing since sliced bread :) I have been known to deliver furniture with my kids in their car seats praying a brawl doesn't break out while I am with a client.
