Love the first and last images particularly, they really appeal to me especially when tailored! I enjoyed seeing all these examples...Janell
ReplyDeleteMe too!!! I have two in my master bedroom and am putting one in my family room. I especially love when I can hide clutter under the skirts :)
ReplyDeleteHa- I was going through the pictures thinking "whats the theme, whats the theme?" duh. Im glad the you posted these, I've been contemplating a skirted table as well!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I'm especially loving the box pleated ones right now.
ReplyDeleteI am on the same page as you. I esp love the look of the third one. Saving that image now!
ReplyDeleteMe too! It just adds such a pretty almost old fashioned feel to the room..but you can certainly make it feel modern as you demonstated too...love all the beautiful exmaples you demonstarted..it really softens a space...love it!
ReplyDeleteI love each of these~ Box pleated are wonderful, octagonal, so beautiful. The simple trims, striking...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, I think I know just the place!
great spaces i love the dinning room
ReplyDeletefunny- I have an octagonal cocktail table that I'm turning into an ottoman, and after considering many fabrics for the top and painttreatments for the bottom, it recently occurred to me to skirt the thing--and that top image from amanda nisbet was one inspiration! Do you know what the fabric is? It wasn't listed in the article, and I know you know fabric!
ReplyDeleteGreat roundup, thanks.

Love me a good skirted table! The top image makes me want summer even more! Loving that fabric especially, and the way the white and light wash over that space is magical.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!
ReplyDeleteThe dining room in the third picture is darling!! I love the dressed up casual feel. The seat slip covers on the chairs and the white cloth with glass on the table dresses it up, but the casual linen and the bead board on the walls brings it back down to earth. Love the simple brown and white palette.
ReplyDeleteI love how the skirts add an additional element of texture and warmth to each of the spaces. The third pic designed by Ashley Goforth is my fav. My cat would enjoy hiding underneath them, too...
ReplyDeleteLove the new pics of the kiddos!
ReplyDeleteLove the entrance of the first picture. the wall color fit perfectly with everything. amazing! :)
