so i have to admit, it's really hard for me to cook during the week.  i feel like i always make the same things over and over again.  i need meals that are good, that the kids will eat, that are semi healthy, and that don't take a lot of time preparing....so i am cooking out of my crock pot all week.  last night i made the best soup....you should try it (it's totally not healthy but oh, so good).  the only bad thing about cooking out of the crock pot is that you have to start thinking about dinner at breakfast....like right now, i just got done searing a roast...and i'm not really in the mood to touch red meat at 9:00 in the morning.....

Yay! So glad the soup was good! I almost called you to ask about it this morning, but I guess you wouldn't have answered anyways since you were in the kitchen searing! I need to give you my crock pot arsenal. I've found some keepers. PS-please make me a pumpkin wreath if you make one! :)

You're so cute! I always end up making the same things, too. It happens to busy moms. But so far I've had no complaints (except for mine!). My kids usually like to know what it is they're eating anyway.
And share with the crock pot recipes!! (but I get you with the red meat in the mornings)

First off, I love the first photo! Just lovely! I have a hard time cooking on the weekends... We eat out breakfast, lunch and dinner! And I absolutely hate it! There is just way too many other things going on. I haven't made much with my crockpot. But maybe I should try using it more on the weekends?

Love all these images that grey-blue is gorgeous, my sister and I painted a feature wall in her bedroom this colour. I know how you feel with cooking, sometimes I really love to cook and other times it bores me. Mimi xx

I use my crockpot all fall and winter...I'd love some new recipes if you come across any, I am so bored of mine! I love that wreath-do you have a tutorial or a source? I want to make one!

Are we all some of the million "friends" of Crockpotgirls on FB? :) Shannon, I'm the same way and Crockpotting recently has helped me save face with the family. On my last grocery delivery (ya, I can't even find time to go to the store) I just ordered a bunch of chix breasts, cream of mushroom soup and dry ranch seasoning...with these in the house, well, should be able to do dinner any night!~Jen

I hear ya. I can barely think about breakfast in the morning, much less dinner.
