sunday after a birthday party, all the moms were standing around talking about this book, fifty shades of grey. i road w/ my neighbor to the party and we made a pit stop so she could get the book. that night i decided to download it on my ipad and see what all the hype was about. O. M . G. is all i can say.......have y'all read it???!!
I am on the second book! I have never read a book like it in my life and I am almost ashamed to say I can't put it down! So many people have different opinions of it. It's a "love it or hate it" kind of book, and well, like I said- I can't put it down!
I am also on the second book. Its filthy and depraved but that's probably all the more reason I can't stop reading. I keep telling myself I'll stop but I don't. My boss even asked to borrow it. Awkward.
i finished the first, only because I felt like I had to. I'm not a fan of the submissive woman part, and I guess I'm too much of a prude because the whole thing made me very uncomfortable!
I just finished the second book over the weekend and then my kindle broke so I'll start the 3rd as soon as I get a new one. I couldn't stop reading them either. I think I read the first two books in a week.
I read the entire trilogy. You must read the entire thing. When I started the first book I found myself staying up until 2am just reading night after night. OMG is all I said for the majority of the first book. It is great. Rumor has it that the author is going to write the whole thing from Christian's point of view (I read the last book on the kindle and there is a preview of two chapters written this way). I hope the rumor is true.
I can't bring myself to buy or read this book..... although I have heard so much about it and I've been tempted. I'm a mother of three young girls (two of which are reading) and I try not to do, say or read anything that would make me feel ashamed if either of them saw or accidentally read something in it. I can't cross that line..... say what you will.
My sister was literally just asked me 5 minutes ago if I heard of this book. I have it. My husband scoured all local bookstores to find it. I don't have a lot of time to read but it is pretty good so far.
too funny... i was at walmart yesterday and browsed for it. walmart apparently won't carry it because of the content. and target was sold out. appears to be extremely popular! pam

haven't read it yet. the reviews are really mixed, some like it and others don't. well i have to find out for myself.
