soothing and calm- that is what i need right now...pounding hammers are echoing throughout the house as a new roof gets put on....these images make me feel peaceful even with that nail gun going off in my ear (okay, maybe it's going to take more than these pictures but they at least are helping the situation)...keeping my fingers crossed that the roof is finished any minute now.

How I would love some extra peace today. My little girl turned four... I am a mess.
ReplyDeleteLove the soothing images. A storm is brewing outside (by nature not by roofers). Congrats on that multi-tasking thing. I have always said that motherhood is the perfect training for air traffic controllers. Love the white curtain scene. I planing on doing something similar in my bedroom.
ReplyDeleteShannon,
ReplyDeletehow excited I was to see the photo (with the hall leading into the master bedroom) of the custom floor to ceiling drapes I had made for my design client. That house was amazing to work in. The client loved caulk white. One of my favorites. The wide plank floors are so beautiful. The house is on the naional register
in our town.
I love the first image, just beautiful. I hope you get a little peace and quiet soon!
ReplyDeleteYour selected images are all so peaceful. I've been drawn to calming interiors lately!! Might be because of my hectic life.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics. Thanks for sharing. I've always wondered how I felt about those miniature staircases. I'm curious, do you like them?
ReplyDeleteHope they finish with the roof soon! Love the pics :)
ReplyDeleteLove the daybed in that last picture...wish I was cozied up with my two kids on it right now...
ReplyDeleteLovely pics and so peaceful to look at. Keep your chin up with the remodeling--just think how happy you will be next winter when the rain is pounding down on your roof, you are inside with a glass of wine/fire and...no buckets. ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are great inspiration. I NEED the marble topped chest in the first image!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! And also one for me finding your blog! I like it a lot!

I mean these rooms nice and all but I believe the real soul of a home lies in a kitchen. Ain't nobody want to live in home they got to worry about getting dirty all the time neither. Y'all need a little bit of color in them rooms!
ReplyDeleteLovely images! I hope you are having a better afternoon and that your roof gets done quickly.
ReplyDeletelove these images...for the love all all shades of white.

ReplyDeleteOh I so know how you feel. I am living with paint dust everywhere at present... having a paint repair job done on a NEW house ..... so living in a renovation. I can't wait to enjoy some quiet time without tradesmen around every corner. Beautiful images. Just purchased a little set of drawers similar to your first image. A-M xx
