I just saw a clint yesterday, we are painting the inside water closet chalk board black ( for doodling), then a rice grain color bath, black cabinetry, fauxed silver toned mirrors.... I love this look! Back in black! Too chic! Leslie
So wonderful. How about the kitchen shot? And the nursery? Charming and brave, it could so easily look like a Halloween prop set, but it doesn't at all.
Soooo ready! Painting Avery's big-girl bed (a freebie, French Provincial twin) in deep, glossy navy - will look very chic next to her hot pink Hawaiin floral bedding (imo) ;)
Love it! I can paint a piece of furniture black, but i can't bring myself to go any further...I've wanted to paint the doors in my house this color for quite some time...scared! If you do it and I see it, I may drum up the nerve. :} BTW..I really like the galoshes on your daughter..grrrreat fashion statement! Thigh high boots are in!
I've been contemplating adding black beneath a chair rail in my long hall and keeping our light grey above. I may actually do it. I don't know for sure yet. We'll see.
I love, love, LOVE black and white! About a month ago i took the plunge and painted my kitchen black, Awesome if i say so myself.I kept everything else white (Sherwin Williams pure white)and i do have open shelving as I have the luck of having a seperate pantry so I do not have the visual weight of upper cupboards it just works beautifully If i can get savvy enough on my laptop I will soon post pic's. Black is sophisticated and unifying plus all colors really pop against a black backdrop, take the plunge you will not be sorry! Love your blog BTW.
Beautiful!!
