i have a comfort zone or maybe bubble that i like to stay in....i always hesitate when something new is placed in front of me. lately i have been testing my comfort zone and trying things that the old shannon would not do. i think about this quote and go for it...b/c after all, what do i have to loose?
I completely agree!
ReplyDeleteThe first quote is so true.

I adore that wing back chair!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quote! But so hard to do sometimes.I've been trying to do one new thing everyday (okay, once a week) and it is really rewarding.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' the wing back chair too, its supa lovely!
Good that you are going for jumping out of the comfort zone. I could find comfort in all of these photos. Great to find another carolina blogger, I am in Cola town. --Gretchen O.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely true!
ReplyDeleteGreat quote!!
ReplyDeleteVery inspirational today! Thank you! I have had some experiences stepping outside my bubble lately and they turned out really well. You just never know....
ReplyDeleteOh I love that...and if only I could act on that. I used to and I am at that same place where I am so ready to try again. To REALLY LIVE!!! Love this post!

You are so right, it's amazing what we can really do.. outside of our safety zone :) I need to venture out of it more often! xx
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, it is when we grow, learn and extend ourselves to another dimension. I find it so hard but love the outcome everytime. Thank you for the encouragement!

I tend to stay in a bubble, too, and go through phases when I try to push myself out of it. I have varying results, but rarely regret trying.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a great quote and one to remember... sometimes it can get a bit too easy to be comfy and overly safe (although comfy in any of these gorgeous rooms might not be a bad thing at all!)
ReplyDeleteCan so relate to that quote. I live within the lines way too much. I ventured outside my comfort zone last week (for a girls trip with blog buddies...leaving my two older sons at home with Dad) and it was wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteHere's to more adventure!
Oh I love that! Totally agree with the quote.
ReplyDeleteGo for it!!!
What a fabulous quote!
ReplyDeleteA familiar feeling for me too!!! That chair is awesome though and it would push my comfort zone but I'm sure I would get used to it. Pruxxx
