i am loving this ink blue color....and those floors in the first pic are just fabulous!! i have had the bottom picture saved for a long time. i think it would be fun to paint my laundry room door w/ chalkboard paint and then draw this fancy door on it!! hope y'all have an amazing hump day!
I must share with you my guest room re-do, with ink blue walls! "Peaceful Night," by Behr.

One thing: professional photographry required to capture such a dark room. And I am NOT a professional photographer!
Sigh.

One of my favorite colors too right now!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the blue, and I like the floor too, although I think I would tire of the high contrast quickly. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about painting my bedroom midnight blue for a while now. I just love the contrast with dark wood furniture!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen navy cabinets though. Those are beautiful!

I am, too, loving this! Just painted a client's sitting room this color and it is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteInk blue is the color of the trim in my kitchen. We made the decision in 1983. Yes, I am THAT old. Do you think we were ahead of the curve? My husband and I designed our house, and he and his brother built it. We had no children at the time so this was our baby. We spent evening after evening on the couch with color charts in our laps. It was such a simple time. I adore my home.... still.
ReplyDeleteOur children are now grown with lives of their own. My husband has a rare degenerative brain disease, so I cherish the memories that come flooding back when I see posts like yours....
Thank you
