i'm not really a yellow person but lately i have been eyeing the color....i'm kind of digging just a jolt of yellow interjected into a space. thinking i should try some in my house...

I've always wanted to use yellow in our house - its happy and makes me think of the sun, but I have a long list of yellow wall paint colors that didn't work for us. Maybe part of my difficulty with yellow is that I also can't wear it well, does nothing for my complexion / coloring ... and I've heard decorating with colors that you look good in is an easy way to make a cozy space. So yellow ... I've ended up with a couple saturated yellow pillows, and they bring "sunshine" into the room without overpowering ... and they bring a fresh contrast / pop to my space that has many blue tones. Love those yellow dining chairs against the like grey walls in the last pic.
