i used to wear my makeup like this (circa 1993-1997)...for every friday night football game in high school (HOT, i know). when i saw this picture, i was instantly taken back to my days on dance team. the only thing that needs to change is her hair- it needs to be in a tight french braid...the kind that makes your eyes water b/c it's pulled so tight. i looked on facebook for a picture to show y'all....luckily, i couldn't find any.
on another note, keely from luxe+ lillies was nice enough to ask me to participate in her wander over wednesday post...

I like how her eye shadow matches her ring, so groovy!!
ReplyDeleteFunny, funny!!!
ReplyDeletehaha! how I remember these days. It may be why I rarely wear makeup now. Back then I wore enough for life.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny, and yes, you need to find a picture!
ReplyDeleteI agree, groovy!
ReplyDeleteI think she's fabulous, and this trend is very much back!
Loving the bling!
Ha, you probably did look hot, for then! And...I adore that turquoise ring! Yikes, I need it! Janell
ReplyDeleteoh, it makes me laugh so hard. I think we are all glad that makeup is toned down from the 80s and 90s. I used to wear a shade of lipstick that was so pale and shimmery I looked dead! ha!
ReplyDeleteThat blue eye shadow is awesome! I was a bit more of a purple eye shadow kinda girl, which went well with my really dark lipstick, classy!
ReplyDeleteI think the eyebrows really complete the look. She has nothing on Brooke Shields!
ReplyDeleteIm sure you rocked the look!!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! I got my makeup done like this for an "exchange" in college and my date couldn't find me... gotta love MAC circa 1997.
ReplyDeleteOMG, you just made me laugh out loud...warren totally got me a mac makeover about 8 yrs ago and the colors they used on my eyes were insane. why they insist on applying such bold colors is beyond me. i think i still have the "green shadows" in my make up bag...the laughs on me b/c i actually purchased them!
