magical

this past weekend, i was around a person who said the word "magical" a lot.  it's not a word that you hear a lot in conversation.  but i like it.  in fact, i kind of feel like summer is magical.  at least for me.

i don't know where the days went....but i'm glad to be back here.  i had a little motivation over the break and i'm going to try to be better at making it a point to come here....for my own sake.  b/c i do love it.

summer has officially begun and my kiddos are number uno these days....with them being out of school, it's a lot harder for me to sit down and have time to post here....so here's our life according to my iphone.

good morning....or should i say TGIF.  i can't believe another week has passed and i am just getting here.  it's been a long week of more moving, lots of rain, and kids that are itching to do things b/c they are out of school.  i am trying to find a balance between work and entertaining kiddos.  i'm not doing my best at the balance....but i hope we find our rhythm soon!!  in other news, it's the weekend, which i couldn't be happier about!!  i hope y'all have a fabulous one :)

please excuse my absence...life has been chaotic.  we have decided the next move will be done w/ movers...it's too hard and we are no longer spring chickens.  our body has ached every night from going up and down stairs w/ furniture and boxes.  thankfully, we are officially done (just don't look in our cars b/c we look like hoarders).  tonight, i'm dying to make these and sit by the pool b/c we have earned them....i hope y'all have a relaxing weekend.

did y'all have a nice weekend??  we had a b'day party for taylor...cannot believe she is almost 6 yrs old!  i started this blog right after she was born....which means i have been doing this for almost 6 yrs...crazy stuff!!
