i LOVE this office...it's so me. this is the perfect combination of industrial and feminine (and it's a classic example of how "junk" can look fab and tasteful). i love the hard lines of the metal desk against the girlie backdrop; the pale pink color in the chest of drawers works so well w/ the floral wallpaper. and the vintage touch in the mix-match accessories makes this a space i would kill to have....

Industrial Chic...
i LOVE this office...it's so me. this is the perfect combination of industrial and feminine (and it's a classic example of how "junk" can look fab and tasteful). i love the hard lines of the metal desk against the girlie backdrop; the pale pink color in the chest of drawers works so well w/ the floral wallpaper. and the vintage touch in the mix-match accessories makes this a space i would kill to have....

I am dying to use wallpaper in my next house...this is a great option. What a beautiful workroom.
hi. this is maybe weird... but i just found your blog by googling the farmhouse sink. do you have this sink still? and in the end, do you like it? and is there a particular kind that you would recommend? my husband and i are renovating an old farmhouse.
also, i saw once where people used this sink for the bathroom... what do you think? thanks! molly.
also, any idea on where i could get a cheap or used one?

This office is fabulous! I love all things industrial, and I think paired with the feminine elements it is quite perfect.
I too love this office! I've used that dresser before and the drawer fronts are actually raffia, which really mixes things up a bit!
you know what, after i wrote that, i tried to enlarge the pic b/c i started feeling like it was raffia!!
